Just like with Rin, I didn't expect to have any luck with tuning these two... but in the end, I think this one turned out the best.
I love how this one sounds compared to Daughter of Evil, honestly.
I hope you all enjoy~

hey uh. do you not realize how incredibly fucking racist that len accent post is
You should go outside.
#it doesnt even say uwaa my japanese accent or whatever#im specifically referring to the accent you get when you use lens jp v4x to speak english#besides i tune it to get the english as clear as i can and i find the remaining accent charming#idk if you thought i gave him that accent on purpose#ask#if this is about the inability to pronounce certain sounds then im fully making fun of the voicebank's capabilities#besides this is about the len v4x jp voicebank specifically#not shimoda asami not other real people not anything else

just found out that if you bought any of the cryptonloids’ V4X packages, you can get their English banks for free now that they’re all part of one bundle. Might play around with Rin and Len EN after I’m done with the song I’m working on.
After this song drops, there’s a strong possibility that I won’t post until Miku’s anniversary. I have to work on her song and then less than two weeks later is Karin’s birthday. I’m not so worried about Miku but it’s been a WHILE since I’ve worked with just Karin so her song might take a while. I’d prefer to have Miku’s song done and ready well before her birthday to give myself some wiggle room on Karin’s.
I do have one cover I’ve just started, but I’m not sure what’s going to come of it. We’ll see where it goes.

RIGHT like I've seen people try and defend it by saying stuff like "oh if you XSY Luka SP with her V4X she's actually usable!" and like. at that point just use her V4X???? same goes for meiko??? miku SP is just Miku V4X Original with that horrible NT filter over the samples it's insane
this blatant cashgrab is also kinda poorly planned? Not only are you paying the equivalent of two or three good quality voicebanks for maybe ONE usable voicebank out of SIX (21600¥ as opposed to, let's say, the 17600¥ you fork over for THE ENTIRE MIKU V4X BUNDLE THAT INCLUDES ENGLISH???), but also some of the voices were downright assasinated. Luka is the one to suffer the most, but Meiko is only barely recognizable and Rin/Len/Miku are just. Why buy this over their V4X. Why buy these voicebanks over their previous versions at all. I can't fathom it. People are bending over backwards to try and justify it but I cannot for the life of me see a world where this pack is a good, understandable option
tldr fuck crypton get the v2/v3/v4 voicebanks and go crazy
FUCK, not having a Twitter account is cool and all, but i wanna see the Piapro "Super" Pack hate!! they all got DOWNGRADED. yes, even Rin, Len, and Kaito, who sound decent. people outside of Twitter seem to be way too chill about this objectively lazy cashgrab!
don't fucking let them have your money for this. if you wanna throw money at Crypton, buy Miku merch, buy the older voicebanks, or wait for Miku V6
am i way too angry at this for my own good? yeah, probably, but someone's gotta be a hater. we need more haters to keep these shit companies in check
who listened to the way the Piapros/Cryptonloids sounded in Project Sekai and decided, "oh damn, this sounds great! gotta release this commercially so people can make their own horrible Project Sekai Virtual Singer-core covers that can't be saved even with the best of tuning!"
to think that we thought they'd been using unreleased NT vocals in Project Sekai the whole time... we've been bamboozled. there is no Easter Bunny, there is no (whatever he said next), and there is no NT voicebank other than Miku. noooooo... that would've required EFFORT
what an absolute disgrace... i mean, thanks for the slop, daddy Crypton!

Unlike Hatsune Miku's Append which contained entirely unique voicebanks, the Kagamines' Append contains a Power voicebank for Rin and Len respectively that is meant to have the same tone as their original VOCALOID2 vocals. Effectively, their Power Append voicebanks were updates to their original voicebanks, with the other voicebanks in the package being the "real Appends."
(source: Vocaloid Wiki, Hatsune Miku Official Blog)
#a lot of more modern vocaloids when they get updated also use an alternate name for the 'original' voicebank.#meiko's v1 is the same tone as her v3 power and kaito's v1 is the same tone as his v3 straight. as a couple examples.#that's all after the era of appends though. this is only only case of a separate package containing an append identical to the native vocal#in the same engine. if that makes sense.#the v4x kagamine voicebanks make no distinction between power and native. the only voicebanks available are updates of the ones made for#append plus their english voicebanks#anyway uh. tag time lol#kagamine rin#kagamine len#japanese vocaloid#vocaloid2#crypton future media

Music and Video: IrisFlower Mastering: GuitarHeroPianoZero Vocals: Kagamine Len V4x
Sorry for the wait!! Here is the video release of the song I made for ASDR’s latest album; Envision. All proceeds go to charity and the album is trance and house themed; so I had a lot to learn and I’m proud of how this turned out.
Crowd Control expands on “Paladin”’s universe and story because I can never resist making my songs into full blown novels. Off vocal, VSQx, and MIDI download in the vid description and please don’t be too hard on Len. He’s already being too hard on himself.

This is literally a dream come true for me. I love Phantom of the Opera so much, and this is my favorite song from the soundtrack. This is also my first English cover with Vocaloid, and I do apologize if it’s a little clunky (especially at the part with “silent and resigned”). Feel free to give me tips on how to make the English banks sound better.
This cover is based mostly on the movie version sung by Emmy Rossum and later by Jackie Evancho. I thought about having Rin sing it, but I’m too much of a typical yaoi shipper trashbag to let that happen. I give full permission for fanfic writers to go nuts with a Phantom of the Opera AU for Kaito x Len, even though I’m not the biggest fan of that ship. Anyway, have fun!
I made the VSQx used here. I might give a download link later.
The original song was composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. If Phantom of the Opera is still playing in your area, go watch it and listen to the original songs for yourself!
Please don't remove this description! Please don't repost this cover outside of Tumblr without permission! Reblogging is welcomed, but remember to keep the description! Please don't use this cover without permission!

Vocaloid Firsts!
some facts in my queue are about how a VOCALOID was the first to be or do something. i worry that might get repetitive, so i decided to make a bonus post listing all those little achievements.
unfortunately, some vocaloids don't have much to work with so their firsts are very specific and not very impressive, but i included them anyway. those vocaloids are special in other ways and hopefully i can post about them another time!
as i mentioned, some of this stuff is already put in the queue as their own fact posts. i've decided to keep them there, mostly because i can't guarantee everyone reads and likes these bonus posts. i'm sorry if it seems repetitive or redundant to you.
also, most of these are from the "achievements" section of the vocaloid's page on vocaloid wiki. not all of these are complete lists, so you can feel free to look for yourself!
